Reviews about Walgreens

The pharmacy offers great service all the time. I don't know what these people are saying about being rude. I have been visiting this location for almost ten years and they have always maintained courtesy. Before you start bashing these hard working people please check yourself and your attitude. They are not robots.

I recently switched to the Sugarloaf location and have had a very unpleasant experience with the pharmacy. I received an email notification that my monthly prescription was due to be refilled. I replied to that email as I have for 2 years and received a response that they needed to contact my doctor for a refill. I waited a week and never received a notice that my prescription was ready. I called the pharmacy and the lady who answered was incredibly rude. Throughout the conversation, while in mid-sentence, she would start talking to someone else in the store. When I questioned the status of the refill, she said they'd reached out to the doctor and hadn't heard back. I asked if they'd sent a second request since it's been a week and I need it in three days...she said no. I asked why they hadn't alerted me and she said she didn't know. When I asked the doctor's name and number, she had the wrong one listed. This is a prescription I've had for years at Walgreen's with the same doctor. I gave her the correct doctor's name and number and she ended the conversation with, "Ok." Not a "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Is there anything else I can do for you today" or even a simple, "Thank you." In 6 years, I've never had a single negative experience at the McGinnis Ferry/PIB location. I think I'll be moving my family's prescriptions back.
